Aamir Khan Seals Batwara Deal

Get ready for the chai-spill of the year, yaar! Sunny Deol's film, previously known as Lahore 1947, has been renamed to Batwara, and **AAMIR KHAN** is the mastermind behind it.

The film's team wanted to lock in the title Batwara, but they needed to get the rights from the family of late producer Salim Akhtar, who made the 1989 film Batwara starring Dharmendra and Vinod Khanna. **AAMIR KHAN** took matters into his own hands and had a personal meeting with Salim Akhtar's family to seal the deal.

Aamir Khan went to Samad Akhtar's house, met his mother and Salim saab's wife, Shama, and **WON THEM OVER** with his passion for the film and his experience working with Salim Akhtar in Baazi (1995). The Akhtar family was convinced, and they sold the rights to Aamir for a certain amount.

The 1989 film Batwara was a classic, directed by J P Dutta, and now Aamir Khan's Batwara is set to **RECREATE MAGIC** with a partition saga starring Sunny Deol, Rajkumar Santoshi, Preity Zinta, Ali Fazal, Karan Deol, and Shabana Azmi. Aamir will also be seen in a supporting role, and we can't wait to see the **MAGIC ON SCREEN**.
