After Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor Heads South, Set To Make Telugu Debut Opposite Teja Sajja
Janhvi Kapoor is a well-known actress in Hindi films; however, she chose to shine across India, moving into South cinema with her debut, Devara: Part 1, in 2024, followed by the recently released Peddi. Following her footsteps is Shanaya Kapoor, as amid her ongoing journey in Bollywood, the actress is reportedly heading to the South cinema. Shanaya is an aspiring actress in Bollywood, and she made her mainstream debut in the feature film Tu Yaa Main. However, according to reports, the actress is now exploring opportunities in the South Indian film industry, and, interestingly, she has also landed a good deal. Yes, you heard that right! If reports are to be believed, the actress is preparing to mark her Telugu film debut with the sequel to the 2021 zombie comedy film ‘Zombie Reddy’. Further, the reports suggest that the sequel to the 2021 film will reportedly feature Shanaya Kapoor opposite the South actor Teja Sajja, known for HanuMan and Mirai. Reportedly, Shanaya has also completed a brief shooting of the film, and as per Deccan Chronicle, “She has been sensible to choose a zombie comedy, and one opposite an actor who is still rising in the ranks, rather than doing a film opposite a big star and getting lost in the frame. Things are tough for these young actors who are already overexposed with their numerous media postings. Telugu cinema could well be testing new waters for her.”
