Fox Baywatch is back. The highly anticipated Fox reboot of the series just premiered its first teaser trailer on Wednesday (July 1). The first glimpse of the series features stars like Hobie Buchannon ( Stephen Amell ), Charlie Vale ( Jessica Belkin ) and Luke ( Noah Beck ) running on the beach, just like the classic series. Later on, Nat ( Hassie Harrison ) says: “Best job in the world,” as the whole crew cheers together inside a bar. The new series will debut in January of 2027. Watch the teaser… The series first launched in 1989 with stars like Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra , and became the most-watched show in the world. There was also a 2017 film with Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson . In the new reboot, Stephen Amell plays the son of Mitch Buchannon ( David Hasselhoff ), serving as Baywatch Captain, with his own child arriving to also carry on the family legacy, per Variety. The cast includes Shay Mitchell as Trina, Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, Brooks Nader as Selene, Livvy Dunne as Grace and David Chokachi reprising his role as Cody Madison.
