YAAR, it's about to get real for the makers of The India Story: Slow Poison In Progress! A legal notice has been issued to Zee Studios, MIG Production & Studios LLP, and the filmmakers over misleading claims about Indian farming.

The notice, sent by advocate Hiranya Pandey on behalf of Bhavesh Sodha, proprietor of Agri Business Centre, CHALLENGES the film's portrayal of India's farming ecosystem as a source of slow poison. It disputes claims about excessive pesticide usage, food adulteration, and cancer-related statistics.

The complainant is FED UP with the film's alleged attempt to establish a direct link between agricultural practices and rising cancer cases, saying such claims require ROBUST SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE. The notice demands the immediate removal of the teaser and all related promotional content from digital platforms.

The filmmakers have been given 7 DAYS to comply with the demands, or face CIVIL AND CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS. It's about to get REAL for Shreyas Talpade and Kajal Aggarwal, the stars of the film.
