EXCLUSIVE: Fahmaan Khan Regrets REJECTING Dil Dosti Dance At 18; Says, “If I Had Taken That Opportunity…”

Fahmaan Khan recently looked back on one of the biggest “what if” moments of his career while reflecting on the advice he would give his younger self. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble , the actor revealed that he had turned down the first season of Dil Dosti Dance when he was just 18 years old, as he was determined to pursue films at the time. Although he sometimes wonders how things might have unfolded had he accepted the opportunity, Fahmaan has no regrets about the decision. Scroll down to read what he said and watch the full interview. Fahmaan Khan Reflects On Rejecting Dil Dosti Dance When asked what advice he would give to his younger version, Fahmaan Khan said, “I would tell myself, jab main 2009 mein aaya tha aur maine apni pehli workshop ki thi, tabhi mujhe Dil Dosti Dance ka offer aaya tha. Maine, us show ka pehla season reject kar diya tha, kyunki us waqt mujhe sirf films hi karni thi. Main 18 saal ka tha, bahut josh mein tha jab yahan aaya tha. Aur us waqt options bhi sirf films aur television hi the. Toh shayad that’s one thing I would like to change. Because eventually, I did come back and do television, and it gave me a lot. It would have started from then only. But again, there are no regrets about it. Because I did finish my graduation after that. If I had taken that opportunity, I probably wouldn’t have finished my graduation.” He continued, “And I wouldn’t have been as ready as I was when I came back. Toh again, there’s nothing that I would really like to change. But that’s one thing I sometimes think about and wonder, kya hota agar maine woh kiya hota? Waise toh zindagi mein bahut saari cheezon ke baare mein lagta hai ki agar woh hota toh kya hota, ya yeh hota toh kya hota. But things are happening, and they’re happening quite well. Achha hi ho raha hai, theek-thaak chal raha hai, kat rahi hai… phir kat rahi hai… ya phir kat rahi hai. Jaise bhi ho, kat toh rahi hai.” Fahmaan Khan is known for playing the lead roles of Dr. Veer Pratap Singh in Apna Time Bhi Aayega and Aryan Singh Rathore in the hit StarPlus drama Imlie.
