Exclusive: Is Colors TV’s much-anticipated show Mukkebaaz scrapped?
Colors TV ‘s much-anticipated show, Mukkebaaz, was supposed to be the story of a boxer who could not have a journey of his own. However, when he comes across a girl with similar ambitions, he decides to train her to become a boxer capable of achieving mighty goals. Boyhood Productions was slated to produce the show. Actors like Fahmaan Khan, Harshad Chopda, Zain Imam, Shaheer Sheikh and many others were considered for the male lead. The channel and the production house had locked Fahmaan Khan as the main lead, but the deal did not happen eventually. Actress Janhavi Soni was supposed to be the female lead. The search for the male lead had been happening for a long time. However, the ensemble cast for the show had more or less been locked. We at IWMBuz.com had written about Yash Tonk, Melanie Nazareth, Meenakshi Sethi, and others being in the cast. But now, we hear that the show might be scrapped owing to various reasons. The entire cast, except the male lead, was locked. The cast was, in fact, waiting for the male lead to be found and the shoot to start. But that might not happen now!! A little birdie tells us, “Mukkebaaz, which was supposed to be a big concept for Colors TV, might not see itself coming.” We hear that, though the final decision on it has not been taken, the strong word coming out is that the concept has likely been scrapped. We buzzed the channel spokesperson, but did not get a response till we filed the story. Watch this space at IWMBuzz.com for exclusive updates.
