EXCLUSIVE: Krishna Shroff BREAKS SILENCE On Nepotism After Not Winning Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, The 50; Says, “It Happens Everywhere You Go”
Krishna Shroff has steadily carved her own identity in the entertainment and fitness space over the years. While she initially gained attention as the daughter of Jackie Shroff and sister of Tiger Shroff, Krishna went on to build a strong fanbase through her work in fitness entrepreneurship and reality television. She became especially popular after emerging as a finalist in all three reality shows she participated in- Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Chhoriyan Chali Gaon and Banijay’s The 50. Krishna Shroff Says She’s ‘Happy’ She Didn’t Win Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, The 50 In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble , Krishna opened up about reality shows, nepotism, scripted television debates, losing competitions, and staying authentic on screen. Scroll on to know what the actress had to share. Talking about consistently reaching the finale stage in every reality show but never winning, Krishna Shroff admitted she does not regret it at all. In fact, she feels relieved about not winning because of the conversations around nepotism. She said, “Can I just be honest? So I’m being so honest over here. I’m kind of happy I didn’t win because I would never hear the end of nepotism. So I’m good with coming second. I’m all right with that.” She further explained that despite not winning, making a mark as a newcomer in the reality space already felt like a major achievement. She said, “It happens everywhere you go. But no, jokes apart, honestly. I think for me just being so new in this world and being able to make a mark and get that as far as I did, I think is a huge win for me.” Opening up about her mindset while participating in the shows, Krishna revealed that surviving till the finale mattered more to her than lifting the trophy. “So even all the shows that I did, my only goal was to be there till the end. I wanted to be a finalist. I’m a very competitive person, but winning shows like that is really difficult. It’s not easy, you know. Sitting on your couch in your living room at home, you can look at the screen and judge and be like, ‘I can do that. I can do this,’ which is what I did before going on Khatron. But it’s a lot harder when you’re actually there doing it and living it.” Krishna Reveals Her Biggest Focus Was To Connect With The Audience She added that her biggest focus was always to connect with audiences and stay true to herself despite the pressure and chaos around reality television. Saying, “So my only goal was to get there till the end, to be able to at least register in the audience’s minds, to connect with people, to make the most of the experience and to also just challenge myself. But I genuinely didn’t have winning in my mind for any of them. I just wanted to be there till the end.” Speaking about authenticity on reality television, Krishna shared that she never believed in creating a fake personality or playing a pre-planned character for cameras. “A
