EXCLUSIVE: Krishna Shroff Calls Herself The ‘Black Sheep’ Of The Family; Admits, “I Feel A Lot Of Pressure”

Scroll on to know what the actress had to share. Krishna Shroff Calls Herself The ‘Black Sheep’ Of The Family Opening up about the pressure of coming from a film family, Krishna Shroff admitted that people around her often expected her to eventually become an actor just like her father, Jackie Shroff and brother Tiger Shroff. She said, “I actually did feel a lot of pressure, and it’s something that I felt like I had to pursue when I was much younger, because a lot of people look at you like you’re crazy if you come from the family that I come from and you don’t want to act. They’re like, ‘It’s right there for you. Why wouldn’t you want to do it?’” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Surbhi srivastava (@tigerian_surbhi62) While Krishna acknowledged the privileges that came with her family legacy, she also admitted that it created confusion during her younger years. “And they think, you know, that I just keep saying there’s so much more to this world than that. While it is an amazing space to be in and my family’s legacy has given me a platform to be able to kind of go out and explore the things that I love to do, it’s been a blessing in that sense.” Krishna Reveals She Felt A Lot Of Pressure Talking about growing up with constant outside opinions, Krishna revealed that she struggled to figure out her own individuality as a teenager. “I did feel that pressure, but that was when you’re a young teen, you’re at this very easily influenced age where outside opinions and voices matter a lot. I was confused , I wasn’t sure.” She added, “I didn’t have much direction of what I wanted to do or who I wanted to be. Also, coming from this huge family name, how am I going to create an identity away from that for myself, my individuality?” She further admitted that for a period of time, she genuinely believed acting might be the expected path for her. Saying, “There was a lot of confusion in my early teen years thinking about who I want to be and what I want to do. So when there’s this constant pressure from people about why wouldn’t you want to do that, you kind of think, okay, maybe that’s what I should do.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by KRISHNA JACKIE SHROFF (@kishushroff) Krishna Reveals The Reason She Never Pursued Acting Krishna Shroff then revealed how s
