During an exclusive interaction with Bollywood Bubble, the actress – who has been receiving rave reviews for her performance as Ally, got candid about her character and how she feels about it being compared to Deepika Padukone’s Veronica from the 2012 spiritual prequel. Kriti Sanon On Cocktail 2’s Ally Being Compared With Deepika Padukone’s Veronica When asked about her Cocktail 2 character Ally being compared to Deepika Padukone’s Veronica from Cocktail, Kriti Sanon replied, “The characters, somewhere, have a similar energy of being slightly disruptive, unhinged and free-spirited. But Ally and Veronica are so different, and I’m glad that they’re different. Ally has her own personality, even though it may seem like it coincides somewhere. She’s a completely different person from Veronica.” About Cocktail 2 Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg’s Luv Ranjan Productions, Cocktail 2 is written by Tarun Jain and Luv. The Homi Adajani directorial stars Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. It serves as the spiritual sequel to the popular 2012 romantic drama Cocktail. This film – also directed by Homi, starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty in lead roles. Giving the film a 4-star rating, Bollywood Bubble wrote in its  review ,  “Bollywood has finally hit the bull’s eye in how modern romances should be presented.
