Popular actor Raashul Tandon, who is known for his engaging display in films and TV, will don the role of a genie for Sun Neo ‘s show Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani. This supernatural thriller, produced by Peninsula Pictures, will soon see the return of actor Sharan Anandani in the role of Jimmy Jinn, the adorable positive genie. A little birdie tells us, “Raashul will be the Kala Jinn, the negative force.” We buzzed Raashul, who confirmed the news, but asked us to call later. Raashul is known for his notable works in projects like Pink, Heropanti, Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga, etc. We reached out to the channel spokesperson, but did not get a response till we filed the story. The show revolves around the mystical journey of its lead characters, Divya and Prem, as they navigate an ancient prophecy and battle the dark forces of the powerful Karn Mohini. The story took an eight-year leap, post which we saw the entry of actress Riddhiema Tiwari in the role of Rakshasi. Child actor Harithi Joshi also entered the show, as Divya’s daughter in the post-leap track, Tara.
