EXCLUSIVE: Urvashi Dholkia Reflects On Motherhood, Calls Son Kshitij Her Calm To The Storm; Says, “He’s The Most Chilled Out Boy I Know”

Known for her fearless personality and unapologetic confidence, actress Urvashi Dholakia has long been admired for balancing a successful career with motherhood. In the reality show Maa Hai Na, audiences get to witness a more intimate side of her as she shares the screen with her son, Kshitij. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble , the actress opened up about revealing a softer side of herself, raising her son away from the chaos of fame, and why she believes mothers across the country will relate to her journey. Did Maa Hai Na give audiences a chance to see a softer, more personal side of you? “Yes, of course, I think the show has given me a chance to reveal and the audience a chance to see another side of me once again. How did that dynamic translate in a competitive, high-pressure environment? “Firstly, thank you for saying that my bond with my child has always been admired, but to be honest, I think every parent and child bond is admirable. As far as the competitive high-pressure environment goes, Kshitij is the most chilled-out boy I know of. We have a very unique bond. If I am the storm. He’s calm! But then, as the saying goes, there is always calmness before the storm. In that way, of course, we are totally connected.” Your journey is inspiring to many. Do you feel audiences, especially mothers, will see a reflection of their own lives in you on this show? “I am humbled to know that my journey has been inspiring to many. Though that was never a planned thing. We all strive to inspire at least one person in our life, and if I have done so, I am truly humbled! as far as mother connecting with me and seeing a reflection of their lives in me goes. I am quite sure if not many, plenty of them will connect with me.
