Fashion designer launches one-of-a-kind yoga brand with the help of her mum
In recent times, we've all come to prioritise our mental health and wellbeing , but, as it does, the fashion industry has sunk its teeth into the yoga and pilates space, crafting clothing for style and performance metrics purposes. Kildare woman Eve Bradbury wanted to take a step back from the noise, and recentre herself to discover where 'yoga truly comes from'. Today's top videos Aumoasis was brought to life, the UK and Ireland's first yoga clothing brand rooted in yoga's actual philosophy. With the guidance of her entrepreneurial-minded mum, the brand launched in January 2026. Aumoasis. Pic: Provided 'I've been working on it for around one and a half years now,' Eve told EVOKE. 'I used to work in fashion in London; I was a menswear designer for almost three years. 'I used to work for supplier companies like ASOS and M&S, but I left because I didn't want to work for a massive supplier or retailer anymore. I felt like my creativity was just completely gone. 'I was just designing for trends and fast fashion cycles, and I felt really disconnected and didn't see myself there long-term.' Aumoasis. Pic: Provided Eve told us that she has struggled with anxiety for 'my whole life', and she feels that yoga grounds her. Upon deciding to leave her career, the 30-year-old found herself eyeing up Bali to become a qualified yoga teacher. 'The philosophy behind yoga is what really attracted me to it. It's such a beautiful culture, it comes from Hinduism, and I was just always so intrigued by that. I just always had an interest in finding out more. 'I always had the intention of setting up my own brand, I just didn't know what I wanted to do. It was in Bali that I was like, "I think I'm going to set up a yoga line".' Eve Bradbury, founder of Aumoasis. Pic: Provided Eve spotted a gap in the market. 'I felt like there was nothing, in the Western world anyway, specifically for yoha. We're tailored towards the roots of yoga, something a little bit more traditional. 'We're not so focused on the aesthetics and performance. Obviously, all of those things are important, but I felt like there was a big niche for that over this side of the world. 'My knowledge in the fashion industry massively helped,' Eve said, but as did her mum, who owned a boutique in Kildare for 25 years, and was well-versed in the entrepreneurship of it all. Aumoasis. Pic: Provided 'It was definitely scary,' she admitted of entering entrepreneurship. It's not something I'd ever done before. I just threw myself into it. I listened to so many podcasts of all these female founders; I did so much research on it. 'I'm quite a motivated person, and I was just like, "Right, I'm going to do this". And then, obviously, with the help of mum, she was very much helping me along. And so, Aumoasis was born. 'It was hard [to come up with a name],' she admitted. 'I dabbled in a lot of names. The word "aum" is the universal sound, it means mind, body and soul, and I love that connection to the yoga world a
