On Father’s Day, Abhishek reflected on what he learned from his father that he still carries with him today. The actor also spoke to Bollywood Bubble about the greatest lesson he’s ever learned from his father and how they have never once been about success, but being true to yourself. He said, “As an actor, there are highs and lows, but that lesson helped me stay focused on my work rather than getting carried away by praise or disgraced by setbacks. He has always emphasised being disciplined, being honest and respecting people. That always continues to guide me every day.” Abhishek also credited his father for teaching him resilience. He said, “He has always taught me to believe in myself, no matter what the situation is, no matter what the condition is. One thing that I have learnt is that you keep doing your work, and the rest will be sorted out by itself. The way I have seen him work without complaining and working every day has taught me a lot.” Abhishek Sharrma Recalls Fond Childhood Memories With His Father Speaking about childhood memories, Abhishek immediately thought of cricket. He revealed that his love for the sport began because of his father. He said, “One of my fondest memories is when he got me my first cricket bat and when he introduced me to cricket. That’s why I love cricket. As I have grown older, I have developed a much deeper appreciation for the sacrifices he made.”
