“Gaurav Khanna And I Are Getting Divorced;” Akanksha Chamola Reveals Duo’s Been Living Separately

Lock Upp 2 premiered on Netflix last evening, Saturday, June 27 and witness some bombshell confessions being made. While Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan took over hosting duties, Akanksha Chamola – wife of television actor Gaurav Khanna, left them as well as the audience shocked with her first revelation. What is it? She and Gaurav have separated and will soon be getting divorced. Read on to know all she said. Akanksha Chamola, Gaurav Khanna Divorce During her appearance on Lock Upp 2, Akanksha Chamola said, “Gaurav Khanna and I are getting divorced. We have been living separately for the past one year. People don’t know about this yet.” She further stated that the decision was mutual and something they had been discussing for a long time. The reality show contestant said, “This is a decision we have both taken. During the same interaction, Akanksha clarified that there is no bitterness between her and Gaurav. She stated that things have not turned ugly between them. She however noted that they realised that they may not be right for each other as life partners. She sahred, “There is nothing bad between Gaurav and me. We still talk to each other, but we feel that we are not right for each other as partners. That is because we both want different things in life.” Akanksha added that their families had also suggested that they spend some time apart to see if distance would help them understand each other’s importance. About Their Relationship Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola tied the knot in 2016 after dating each other for some time. The were often spotted together at events and social gathering as well as often shared glimpses of their love on social media. During his stint on Bigg Boss 19, Gaurav opened up about wanting to become a father, while also revealing that Akanksha was not ready for motherhood even 9 years into their marriage. At the time, his statement had sparked conversations around parenthood, marriage and personal choices. Now, Akanksha’s revelation on Lock Upp 2 has once again brought their relationship into the spotlight.
