In absolute Vanderpump style, the reality star wowed the crowd during her event at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas on Wednesday night. Her keynote was the last one of the day and she packed the house. She brought wisdom, humor, and a sense of relatability to the room in a very Vanderpump way. One topic she tackled with grace and ease is her hiring process and why she often chooses “judgment over process.” “When it comes to people in management, I think I look at their judgment over process. I think that’s really important,” she told the crowd. “You can anticipate some problems but you can’t anticipate everything. You need somebody there that is going to uphold your values and do as you would hope for.” Vanderpump said that she has nearly the same staff at her popular Vegas bar, Vanderpump Garden, since day one. That in itself says a lot about her business model. She also shared that she fully believes mentorship is a key factor in business, as well as confidence. “Confidence is so much the key to success. I think we live in this society where we doubt ourselves. If 10 people say you look beautiful and one person says you look tired, that’s what you remember and that’s insane,” she said. “Stop doubting yourself.
