Lottie Ryan confirms RTÉ future as she lands new job at rival station

Lottie Ryan has broken her silence after being announced as the new co‑host of The Six O’Clock Show - and she’s clearly buzzing for the next chapter. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Lottie told followers: 'This September, I’ll be joining Virgin Media and The Six O’Clock Show, and I’ve never been more ready for what’s next.' But she also acknowledged the emotional weight of leaving RTÉ after 15 years. 'Deciding to step into something new also means choosing to close something behind you,' she wrote, thanking her 2FM colleagues for their support and the listeners, 'who are the reason any of it matters.'
