Nara Smith Reveals Her 2-Year-Old Daughter's Heartbreaking Cancer Diagnosis

Influencer Nara Smith opened up to her follower’s about her 2-year-old daughter’s heartbreaking cancer diagnosis. In a July 1 video, Smith revealed that her daughter Whimsy Lou has been diagnosed with cancer. “There’s no easy way to say this, or talk about this,” Nara began, before revealing that her daughter’s diagnosis happened “late last year.” Nara shares Whimsy with her husband, model Lucky Blue Smith. They also share daughter Rumble Honey, 5, son Slim Easy, 4, and daughter Fawnie Golden, who was born in September 2025. Nara then opened up about her own feelings in the process, and how relying on online forums and social media has eased them. “All of that combined really brought me a lot of comfort and alleviated the feeling of loneliness for me,” she admitted. “Processing this and navigating all of this as a family has been really hard.” In the process, she’s also taken a step back from posting. “A lot of you have probably realized that I’ve been posting a little less and this is the reason why,” she said. “Having found all of this out and navigating this while postpartum, also loving and caring for our other kids at home, also being in the hospital with Whimsy a lot and balancing work on top of that has been really challenging.” “Some days are a little easier, some days are really hard, and all I can do is try my best and show up in all those areas in the best way that I can,” she reflected.
