The “Drop Dead” singer stopped by KISS FM UK to promote her new album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love , and ended up dishing on one of the grosser realities of touring: some of her fans wear diapers to lock down a front-row spot, and she knows it. “I have been to certain concerts and certain festivals where people wear diapers so that they can be front row of the show,” Rodrigo said , “and that’s been an experience as a performer that I have smelled.” The confession reportedly horrified hosts Tyler West and Chloe Burrows , who had asked the 23-year-old about the worst place she’d ever had to relieve herself. She also revealed the practice lives rent-free in her head. “Like the [Times Square] Ball Drop on New Year’s Eve, everyone is wearing diapers, they sit there all day. Supporters argue that fans often spend hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of dollars on premium floor tickets and may queue for hours to secure the best possible view.
