And considering how toxic things got in Season 14, that means a lot. The currently in production Season 15 has undergone a major cast shakeup, and according to insiders, the change is already paying off in a major way. With three returning faces, a handful of newbies, and one squashed family feud, things are allegedly less toxic than ever. What producers are saying about the RHONJ Season 15 cast Photo Credit: Scott Everett White/Bravo Cameras picked up for RHONJ this spring after the franchise spent more than a year on pause. During that hiatus, we endured countless rumors about casting, reboots, and who would and wouldn’t survive the shakeup. Then, the miracle happened with Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice ending their years-long feud. After they called their truce, Bravo eventually settled on bringing them back for Season 15 , along with Dolores Catania . Everyone else from RHONJ Season 14 got fired and replaced with a new group of Housewives. According to a production source that spoke to Us Weekly , Bravo made the right call. “There was so much drama the last few years that producers want the OG cast to settle in with the new cast,” their source explained. “It has been far less toxic than previous seasons.” Although a previous rumor suggested Dolores was struggling in the new era of RHONJ, this production source claimed that all three veteran Housewives are adjusting well. Allegedly, they’re all embracing the fresh dynamic , and it sounds like the show may finally be getting back to basics. That’s something no one could be mad at. We used to pray for times like this. “Melissa, Dolores, and Teresa are really enjoying the new dynamic, delivering great personal stories, and the larger group is bonding over real-life family situations,” the source added. “The season so far is full of fun, sisterhood, emotion, comedy and drama.” Bravo hasn’t officially announced the names of the new Housewives, even though there are plenty of rumors on social media. In the meantime, the production teased that the newbies are killing it and are “most of the story right now.” They’re clocked in, and we love that for them. There’s no word on when RHONJ Season 15 will air, but based on these insider reports, this might be a reboot we can get behind. The Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming on Peacock.
